A New Chapter!

      We celebrate New Year on the 1st of January. It is great holiday. We can go to buy new clothes and we can spent our time to our family and it is something that we all look forward. It marks the beginning of the year and the end to another year. New year is celebrated with great pomp and cheerfulness all over the world.

      On the morning of December 31, we were all busy buying new clothes, buying fruits, cleaning the house, and displaying the fruits on our table. At 9pm me and my family attended the mass in our barangay after that we are begin to displayed the fireworks at 12 pm in the midnight we greet each other, and including our relatives. This day I was thankful to have a complete family and we could celebrate each other. On January first, my relatives visited our house to eat some food, and at the end of the day, my auntie and uncle invited us to their home, so we were all bonding with each other and having fun playing games.

      We should welcome the new year with tremendous enthusiasm and enjoyment rather than feeling depressed about the passing of the previous year. We ought to look forward to taking stock of how time has passed, welcoming possibilities, and making an effort to better our lives. The new year's celebration points to a fresh start and imparts the lesson of progress.
